I've begun my research into camera options for this endeavor. I have a Panasonic miniDV camera laying around that could be an option. The quality is okay but I need to do more tests with it. I have also been interested in the Flip Mino HD. It is a tiny little camera that shoot 720p HD video. Now admittedly it is not the best HD video in the world but considering that the internet is going to be my primary mode of distribution (I am not going to be burning Blu-Rays anytime soon) it is an option. I found a hack online that allows me to add different lenses to it. Its portablility apeals to me. How many people take more pictures with their cell phones then their real cameras because it is what they have on them at the time. A small portable camera might have more applications beyond this project. I was looking at some prosumer cameras but I think they are out of my budget considering most of my budget is going to the new computer.
Any thought on this matter would be appreciated. Oh if you happen to have an awesome camera sitting in your closet that a poor teacher could borrow. I wouldn't mind.
